Mulberry Queens Films - Producer

A unique boutique agency founded by female creative duo & close friends Eva Minemar and Dolores Diaz. Mulberry Queens Films provides production from concept to completion. Specializing in representing the unrepresented in TV & Film, MQ remains committed to supporting projects for women by women and equality both in from and behind the camera. MQ Projects range from cutting-edge documentaries to feature film, TV, commercials, theatre, and music videos to film festival programming and event coordination. Current projects range from Sundance finalists, HBO, Oscar qualified films to award-winning cultural arts festivals worldwide.

Kathryn Grant – Writer/Producer

Kathryn is an award-winning writer whose full-length plays include The Wound of Love, The Good Counselor, Handicapped People in Their Formal Attire, The Alabaster Virgin, The Khmer Shiva, Order My Steps, and Aliyah. She has received the Berilla Kerr Award in playwriting, the Jerry Kaufman award in playwriting, The Premiere Stages Festival Award, and a citation from The Harold and Mimi Steinberg/ATCA New Play Award. Her plays have been presented at The Actors Studio, Penguin Repertory Theater, the John Houseman Studio Theater, Provincetown Repertory Theater, Premiere Stages in New Jersey, Theater Breaking Through Barriers, 1st stages in DC, Ensemble Theater’s Octoberfest, and the American Renaissance Theater. Her work is published by Samuel French, Smith and Krause, and Applause Books. Her first series, adapted from her play, The Good Counselor is in development with Vicki McCarty of Covington, International. She lives in New York with her husband, actor, and director, Ed Setrakian.

Augusta Palmer – Director

Augusta Palmer is a filmmaker, scholar, and educator. Her award-winning feature documentary, The Hand of Fatima, was described as “a combination of personal history and glorious music that is deeply compelling” by New York Magazine. Her fiction short, “A is for Aye”, screened at festivals from New York to New Zealand, and inspired a series of workshops at the New York Public Library. Her second documentary feature, The Blues Society, won best documentary at the Oxford Fill Festival and the audience Award for music film at Indie Memphis.  Palmer's work has been funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the New York State Council on the Arts. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Media and Communication at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York.

Megan Grant - Co-Producer

For 35 years, Meg Grant has worked for Keystone First, Pennsylvania’s largest Medicaid-managed care plan. As a healthcare executive, Meg is responsible for creating programming to improve health outcomes, address health equity and remove barriers that prevent families from being healthy and self-sufficient. Most recently, Meg launched a Wellness Center located in Chester City. She was instrumental in keeping doors open during the pandemic and worked with the Delaware County Health Department to turn the Center into a COVID-19 immunization and testing site. Meg currently serves on the Chester City Health Board, Delaware Valley Community Health Board, and the Delaware County PR committee for the newly formed Health Department.

Gaelynn Lea - Music

Gaelynn Lea won NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest in 2016. Since then, she has captivated audiences around the world with her haunting original songs and traditional fiddle tunes. Gaelynn Lea has opened for Wilco, The Decemberists, LOW, and the industrial rock supergroup Pigface. Most recently, she composed the music for Macbeth on Broadway, starring Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga.

Gaelynn Lea is a sought-after public speaker about Disability Rights and accessibility in the arts. She is also one of the Co-Founders of RAMPD: Recording Artists and Music Professionals with Disabilities. The mission of this fast-growing, disability-led coalition is to amplify disability culture, promote inclusion & advocate for accessibility in the music industry. She is currently working on a memoir about her touring adventure and disability advocacy.
